The Columbus Foundation’s Summer Fellowship Program provides a select group of college students the opportunity to work in Columbus area nonprofit organizations during the summer months. All Fellows are required to work full-time as designated by their host organization. In addition, Fellows attend seminars highlighting key organizations and programs conducted in the central Ohio nonprofit and public sectors.

| Alvis House | To provide an environmental scan of best practices and potential social enterprise opportunities, as well as the development of an organizational strategic scorecard. |
| Cancer Support Community | To create a program providing education, research, support, and access to health and wellness services for residents affected by cancer. |
| Columbus Collegiate Academy | To support the Family Advocacy Program of community outreach, implementation of targeted enrollment strategies, prioritization and production of community events, and support for school families through the home visit process. |
| Columbus Early Learning Centers | To support the organization’s 125-year history through the compilation of historical information, implementation of preservation efforts, and development of an alumni database. |
| Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services | To serve as assistant site coordinator to the Summer Youth Program and develop a health curriculum around the management and operation of the community garden. |
| INCREASE CDC | To facilitate a business sustainability research study to analyze the progress, success, and current challenges of existing businesses that were incubated and launched over the last 14 years. |
| Junior Achievement Columbus | To support the planning and implementation of the BizTown curriculum for the upcoming year, production of marketing materials, and the development of new business relationships for BizTown. |
| LifeCare Alliance | To support the Senior Pet Care Program through the expansion of product and service area, grant research, marketing plans, and volunteer recruitment and coordination. |
| Ohio Environmental Council | To support the policy research, marketing and communication, and outreach associated with the Ohio Green Jobs News Roundup. |
| Serving Our Neighbors (SON) Ministries | To serve as the program coordinator for the multiple sites of the Hilliard Free Lunch Summer Camp for Kids, ensuring seamless program implementation, coordination of community resources, and thorough training of staff. |
| The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio | To conduct research into philanthropic work targeted at women and girls nationally and within central Ohio. |
